CYCLIC DUCTED VACUUM What is a Ducted Vacuum System? A Ducted Vacuum System is the modern way of cleaning your home or business. The system consists of PVC piping that is installed in the walls of your home and connects back to a Vacuum machine. Usually installed in the garage, the Vacuum machine collects all of the dust in a location outside of the home. Inlet valves are strategically installed around the house for plugging the 9 metre hose into. When the hose is plugged into the inlet valve, the machine starts and all dirt and grit is sucked through the hose, then the PVC pipe then deposited in the Vacuum Machine located in the garage.
Why Install a Ducted Vacuum? Todays homes with all of their TVs, computer and appliances attract more dust than ever. It is far better to remove the dust from the home with a Ducted Vacuum System and deposit it in the Vacuum Machine outside the general living area. This creates a much healthier living environment because a domestic vacuum cleaner blows all of the fine particles back into the home.
Healthier, More Powerful and Convenient Cleaning! The Vacuum Machine is two times more powerful than a domestic vacuum cleaner. But most importantly the airflow generated by a Ducted Vacuum System is three times greater than a domestic. As a result all deep down dirt, dust mites, pollen and spores are removed from the living areas reducing the incidence of allergy and asthma attacks. A variety of attachments are available for the systems, making cleaning of difficult areas a breeze and the light weight Vacuum Hose is very easy to work with. The air powered turbo head is an essential accessory, no longer do you need to break your back when vacuuming because the turbo head moves itself across the carpet.
Quiet! Because the Ducted Vacuum motor is located outside you can even vacuum on Grand Final Day or when the children are asleep!
Easy Installation A Ducted Vacuum System can be installed into any existing or new home.
Costs A Cyclic Ducted Vacuum System adds value to your home. It can be fully installed from $1100 or pre-piped into a new home from $300. Cyclic Ducted Vacuums are designed to last for over 10 years so at this price it will save you money on domestic cleaners. Planning To begin with you need to decide: 3. Which machine will I use? 4. Which hose kit and accessories will I choose? Step 1: How many inlets do I need? The most important thing to remember when planning the
location of your inlets is that the Ducted Vacuum System Hose is 9 meters long. So you
need to make sure that all inlets are located to provide full coverage of the floor area
in your home. Step 2: How many meters of PVC pip do I need? Simply calculate the distance from where you will be locating the Ducted Vacuum Machine to the first inlet point. Then the distance to the second inlet point from the first and so on until you know the total length of the PVC pipe required. This measurement only needs to be with in 5 meters accuracy. Step 3: Choosing the right Cyclic Ducted Vacuum Machine. Different manufacturers have different ways of rating their machines. Most refer to how much Horse Power the unit has but this has no relevance when you are vacuuming your floor 30 meters away from the main power unit. The horse power rating refers to the amount of electricity required to run the electrically powered device. This rating has no bearing on the amount of air flowing through the ducted vacuum system. If you take a standard 1400 watt (2 horse power) domestic vacuum cleaner and compare it with a 1400 watt ducted vacuum system the airflow in the ducted system is twice that of the domestic cleaner. Cyclic Ducted Vacuums have taken this one step further by using motors with 10mm impeller blades twice the size of most other motors. this means that we have around 15% more airflow than other systems on the market. That is why more and more people are choosing Cyclic Ducted Vacuum Systems. What is the difference between a disposable bag machine and a bucket machine? The disposable bag machine has a paper bag inside which has to be removed and replaced when it is full. Replacement bags around $8.00 each. The bucket machine from Cyclic Ducted has a unique octagonal shape. When the motor starts up the air is sucked through the hose, PVC pipe and then into the bucket machine. A cloth filter separates the dust from the motors. The dust is sucked into the canister and forced into the corners of the octagon. The centrifugal force created inside the machine forces the dust downwards and compresses it into the bucket forming a wad similar to that on the inside of your cloths dryer. In other "bucket" or "cyclic" machines the dust is whisked up everytime the machine starts and flies around inside the bucket reducing the airflow of the system. The "cyclic" action of the octagonal Cyclic Ducted Vacuum provides a far superior and more efficient cleaning system. Which machine shall I choose?
Step 4: Choosing your hose kit and accessories.
